Position Description:

Lead people into taking their next steps in their faith and relationship with Jesus by providing radical hospitality and a clear assimilation pathway.

Purpose:

It is always someone’s first Sunday, and it is our job to be ready for them. Through enthusiasm and keen organization, strive to have all who come to Woods Chapel find a welcoming experience and feel safe to explore new opportunities in their faith.

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Graduate, B.S. preferred or equivalent

3+ years of experience in working closely with and leading people

Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on direct guest and volunteer interaction

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with attention to detail

Public Speaking skills in delivery and crafting messages.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Cast vision and lead Guest Services Team Members

Create a guest service culture by recruiting, training, and developing Team Members and

Leaders.

Ensure consistency in all systems and procedures each Sunday

Regularly meet with Team Leaders, and other Team Members to cast vision, continue training, and build relationships

Utilize the WC Live database to maximize effective connections with new guests and existing families

Create follow up processes and track attendance and retention of guests

Utilize Text in Church as the primary communication for guest follow up.

Develop and manage departmental budget

Coordinate signage, parking, and volunteers for special events

Develop and maintain communication with other ministry team directors to ensure a seamless experience for our guests

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations

Encourage people to grow in their faith by maintaining the assimilation process established at Woods Chapel. This includes baptism, Meet the Pastors, Growth Track, and Membership.

Teach and promote Growth Track, our Membership Class, on Sunday mornings
