LIFE GROUP PASTOR - NORTH COAST CHURCH
Purpose of Position:
- To provide and develop a growing small group ministry experience with 60 - 80 Life Groups that create an environment that empowers spiritual growth through the connection with God and one another.
- To be a vital contributor and catalyst in growing the overall small group ministry and its impact in spiritual formations.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- To identify, recruit, train, and support Station-in-Life Life Group Leaders and Hosts.
- To develop and maintain a leadership support system for the Life Group Leaders.
- Keep the quality and quantity of groups moving to higher levels.
- Work with the Life Group Pastor and Life Group Team in providing overall direction of the Life Group Ministry and ongoing training for Life Group Leaders and Hosts.
- Provide pastoral counseling and care (i.e. weddings, funerals, hospital visits, etc.)
- Venue Pastor / Emcee / Welcome Center - be available on the weekends to cover for a venue pastor as guest emcee, or serve before and after service welcoming visitors. There is a possibility this position will be assigned a venue to pastor in addition to primary duties and responsibilities.
- Potentially host or lead Vista classes
- Become a potential contributor and writer of Life Group Homework and producing weekly Leader Guide and resources.

Physical Demands (if any):
- Standing for long periods of time (several hours) during weekend Life Group Sign-up campaigns.

- Developing Station-In-Life ministries that embrace and reflect the overall Life Group ministry’s mission of providing Life Groups to help our members “Build meaningful Christian friendships centered on God’s word.”
